ESPEN MATHIESEN SEMINAR 2025
We hosted a great seminar with Espen Mathiesen, European champion, world medalist and one of Europe’s top lightweight competitors.
We had another great seminar with Espen Mathiesen at BJJ Lab Zürich. This time he showed us part of his no-gi a-game.
Espen is known for his beautiful jiu jitsu and creative back-taking skills. Check out the example in this video for a taste of his style.
The focus of the seminar was on attacking the back and heel hooks from Reverse De La Riva guard. How to quickly go from one to the other and chain the attacks together. We also learned some great concepts and how to control the positions at every step along the way.
